QEP 83200The QEP 83200 24-Inch Bridge Tile Saw?puts the best quality and an even better price together in one product. Made by QEP, it is one of their many products that specialize in the surface preparation and installation of ceramic tile, carpet, laminate, vinyl and wood flooring. Although they are still fairy new to the market compared to other companies in the same field, having been established in 1979, QEP products are already being used in all 50 states and in over 75 countries around the world.

This QEP Tile Saw uses a direct drive, 1 ? horsepower, 3550 rpm brushless motor that works great with marble, granite, porcelain, stone and tile. It has a 6 ball bearing cutting assembly that lets the motor glide smoothly with minimal vibration for exact cuts. It is also fully enclosed by a dual water spray system that makes the distribution of water even, which can help extend the life of the diamond blade. It can rip tiles at up to 24 inches, and can diagonally cut them at 18 inches. It also has an adjusting pivoting rail that allows easy angle positioning from 90 to 45 degrees for miter cuts.

The QEP 83200 has an angle/rip guide that makes production consistent, plus a laser-cutting guide that creates a more accurate cutting path. To prevent the tile saw from overheating, it has an automatic thermal overload protection. It has a heavy-duty shelf that provides storage and quick access to the tile, plus a foldout stand with wheel attachments to make it more mobile and easy to store. To keep it safe and childproof, it has a locking on and off switch and key for additional safety. Its power cords are also out of the way and are encapsulated in a protective tube and attached to a flexible rod that keeps the cutting table safe and clear.

Customer Reviews and Ratings

Users find the QEP 83200 Tile Saw to be great for cutting tiles of different sizes, with the ability to get the finest and thinnest cuts from it. Users were also pleased with the quick angle select for both vertical and horizontal selections, and its capability to cut 18-inch tiles at a 45 degree angle. Set up was also fairly easy, but cleaning up after using it can be quite a challenge. This would be something normal for tile saws though, so it?s not really a big deal. Some users did complain of the vibration, although there were only a few users who experienced this, while everybody else were quite satisfied with what they had.?Click here to read more customer reviews?

All in all, this QEP Tile Saw is a fairly good buy, but can be a lot better if it were just a little bit cheaper than its current price.
